Botswana: Einreise mit Kindern
HOORAY, YOUR KIDS ARE GOING ON SAFARI!
A trip to Africa is an exceptional adventure and will give your children life-long memories.
To make sure everything goes smoothly however, please ENSURE that you adhere to the regulations in place regarding travel for ALL children under the age of 18.
A fun safari activity is completing a tick list of the birds and animals spotted in the bush.
To help you get to your safari with the minimum fuss and bother, we’ve compiled a checklist of the requirements for travelling with minors.

*An Equivalent Document is any official document or letter issued by a foreign government (including a foreign embassy) or a letter issued by the Director-General of the Department of Home Affairs in lieu of an unabridged birth certificate and which serves as a confirmation of parentage of a person below the age of 18.
Adopted children to provide proof of adoption by means of an adoption certificate.
In cases where a parent or guardian is travelling without a parental consent affidavit from the absent parent/s then they will need to have a court order granting full parental responsibilities and rights or legal guardianship in respect of the child.
Legally separated parents should also provide a court order when the other parent does not give consent.
Any copies of supporting documents should be certified by a recognised authority. Please note that certified copies are only valid for 3 months from date of issue.

In cases where one parent is deceased, the parent accompanying the children only need to produce the death certificate for the deceased parent.
